How to read the atlas

  1. MW is capacity. GWh is energy produced over a year.
  2. Storage uses both MW and MWh. Heat and grid infrastructure use different measures.
  3. Programmes, work packages and plant phases overlap. Their counts and budgets are not additive.
  4. Operating is a reported lifecycle stage, not a claim of live output.

Station positions are candidate site locations. Exact sites are still being verified. Illustrative energy landscapes. Not photographs of the named projects.
